Planning is the part where MES works together with the Planning and ERP part. The MES system pulls the data from the ERP system or the planning department's data. This part makes the tracking of production plans as accurate and consistent with the actual production as possible. The information obtained from 2 sources is from the staff working at the front of the machine and the information that the system can read from the machine directly from the sensor device installed through the Controller Board (IOT, PLC, SCADA) that installed on the machine
